Swap Day

It was very exciting to meet the new a Reception intake, and they worked incredibly hard doing some drama based on Michael Rosen's 'We're Going On A Bearhunt' story. Six new children joined the class later on and we had fun introducing ourselves, and completing some beautiful butterfly pictures - they are all ready to decorate the classroom in September!  We then enjoyed lunch in the dining hall with a grown-up...we finished the morning feeling very grown-up ourselves!

Beaumont Book Project...the return visit!

The children had a super time visiting their buddies, and collecting their stories today. We spent some time in the library, and were even treated to squash and biscuits! The children's books are very impressive, and some also contain games, puzzles and colouring in.

The stories are based on each child's interests and contain some wonderful characters and illustrations. We've written thank you cards to our buddies this afternoon, and Mrs Ledger will deliver them to Beaumont next week.
