A hopping good time!

We finished off our maths work today with a song about 5 little speckled frogs.  There is a link to the song here if you would like to sing it at home, the children can show you the actions:

Mrs Woolard reminded us that there were some frogs living in our bee garden.  The children were very excited to see the frogs, and went round in small groups so that we could be very quiet, and not frightem them away.  It was very interesting to observe the frogs and their speckles!

Fun in the sun!

The butterflies and caterpillars have had a fantastic first week at school. All the children are settling in brilliantly, and the mums and dads didn't shed too many tears either! The children are enjoying getting to know each other, and making new friends. Here are some of the things your little wonders have been getting up to...

Every day we enjoy a healthy snack, and it's a nice time to talk to our friends.

Exploring a watery world.

Keeping fit (and being very brave) on the climbing frame.

Working together to build and construct.

Being very busy practising our writing.

Getting our bodies moving on the bikes and scooters.

The car wash was open today...although apparently there was no room for Mrs Ledger's car!

Enjoying a game of football.
