Happy Easter!!

We hope you are having a great Easter break.
Here are some of the activities the children in Foundation Stage got up to to learn about Easter traditions and why Easter is celebrated.

A visit to the church.

Decorating our own Easter eggs using marks found in art - lines, stripes, dots, zigzags and dashes and using a variety of collage media.

An Easter treasure hunt finding numbered eggs, with a little chocolate treat at the end.

Yummy - tasting hotcross buns.

Thinking about Spring and things that grow, we enjoyed exploring the jelly and finding out about frogspawn and tadpoles.

A well deserved Pasta Party for all our hard work, super learning and being kind to our friends.

Thank you for raising money for our Foundation Stage unit - here are the children using two of the resources you bought!
