We have really enjoyed getting to grips with some interesting computing activities in the last couple of weeks. In ChIL the children have been using the computers and iPads to complete a range of interesting games including mazes, dressing activities, puzzles and phonics games. Some of the children have been doing writing and typing on the interactive whiteboard, and some children have even used the photocopier to copy their own work for learning journals.
Today, Butterflies had a visit from our IT Technician Mr Sherwood, who helped us learn about how to use the beebots. We all had a turn at programming the robots - perhaps you could ask your child to explain how they work.
Next week, butterflies will be tasked with becoming the teachers and showing the younger children in Caterpillars how the beebots work. Watch this space for more photos and updates about our computing work.
