Pip pip cheerio!

What a very emotional morning!


We sat beautifully for our celebration and leavers' assembly, celebrating the achievements of children throughout the school and singing our thanks and "see you soons" to Mrs Taylor and Mrs Impey.


In Caterpillars, we read the story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar, and we talked about how Caterpillar class came to us as tiny caterpillars, and have been learning every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and are now big and full of learning.


Enjoy your cocoon of a holiday, and when you come back, you will be beautiful butterflies!


Thank you so much to all the children for working so hard and being a very kind and caring class. Big thanks also to all the parents and carers who have always had words of support for us.


We are very overwhelmed by the generosity and thoughtfulness of all the gifts, cards and kind messages. Thank you so much.

Here comes the sun...

It doesnt seem possible, but here we are appraching the end of term!

We have been spending time in our new classrooms and talking about next year as well as thinking about what a great year we have had.

In Butterflies today we enjoyed our ice pops outside and talked about our year and freindships and made a friendship bracelet for a person in our class!

A few words from 'us grown-ups' in Butterflies...

It has been a pleasure to teach your children and we are so proud of them as we are sure you are.  They have grown up so much and done some fabulous learning. As a class it has been a so wonderful to see how they have made strong bonds of friendship that will no doubt last all their years at Sandridge.  We wish them a super summer holiday with lots of fun, laughter and smiles and wish them a great time in Year One.

Lastly a big thank you to the parents who helped us this year - volunteers, readers and those who helped with a whole vareiety of other jobs - we couldnt do it without you!

To all the parents we wish you a lovely break and would like to thank you for all your positive support this year.

Beaumont Books

Our trip to Beaumont School

The Year 8 children at Beaumont made us some gorgeous books. They asked us questions about what we like and enjoy doing so that they could use this information to make us personalised story books.

We visited the school and were presented with our books which the children read to us. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Year 8 Beaumont children!
